Super-Easy Chicken Manicotti

Prep time: 15 Minutes
Total cooking time: 1 hour 20 minutes

Ingredients:

1-26 or 30 oz jar tomato pasta sauce (any variety)
Garlic salt (to taste)
1 ½ lbs chicken breast tenders (thawed and not breaded)
1 pkg uncooked manicotti shells
2 cups (8 oz) mozzarella cheese
Dried or fresh basil (if desired)

Directions:
  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degree
  • Spread pasta sauce over the bottom of an ungreased rectangular 9x13x2 baking dish
  • Sprinkle garlic salt on chicken
  • Insert chicken into uncooked manicotti shells, stuffing from each end of shell to fill if necessary
  • Place shells on pasta sauce in baking dish
  • Pour remaining pasta sauce evenly over shells, covering completely.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake about 1 hour or until shells are tender
  • Sprinkle with cheese and basil, if desired
  • Bake uncovered for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted
