Oreo Cookie Delight

Contributed by Cheri Caswell, Martinez Ward

Ingredients:

1 large bag Oreo cookies
1/2 cup butter (melted)
3 small boxes of french vanilla instant pudding
3 3/4 cup milk
1-8oz. pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1-12 0z. container Cool Whip (thawed) OR 1 pint of heavy cream whipped and sweetened with powdered sugar (which is what I use)

Directions:
  • Using a food processor pulse the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs
  • Save about 1/4 cup of crumbs for the top
  • Press remaining crumbs into a 9x12 baking dish pouring the melted butter over the top
  • Pat into the dish
  • Using a food processor, mix the following ingredients well: cream cheese, pudding and milk (the mixture will be thick)
  • Pour this mixture over the crumb crust and spread evenly
  • Top with the Cool Whip or the sweetened cream
  • Decorate the top with the reserved crumbs
  • Chill for several hours before serving
